Etc...

Happy Monday Night!

First and foremost: The field visit went very well. I usually don't get to travel locally when I do my occasional face-to-face powwows as I serve one of the more southern county's in Joisey, but as luck would have it, today's trip was all of fifteen minutes from home. Of course the meeting itself went on for a little over two hours, and then of course I had to drive back to Officeland...all in all not a bad day.

The sinus infection seems less virulent thanks to the antibiotics. But the antihistamine (which works great) really makes me feel sleepy. I must have had a pot of coffee today...

And finally, since no one guessed what movie the sleeping little girl with the copy of "No Exit" came from I guess I'll tell you...

...believe it or not, that scene was from "Friday the 13th VI, Jason Lives". I kid you not. I was watching the movie the other night on HBO and realized that for some reason, the filmmakers decided to go for a few laughs and sight gags in this slasher film. Of course the little girl with Sartre's book made me howl (she is one of the little kids tucked in safely for the night while the goalie-masked mad man makes mincemeat of the horny teenagers hired to care for the kiddies).
