I should have had my camera with me this morning. The drive down route 206, deep in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens was sublime.
No traffic, I guess everyone else took the day off.
But more than that; as the sun broke through the clouds, the evergreen’s that were covered in ice seemed to sparkle like stars.
And then there were the low lying banks of fog coming off the cranberry bogs.
Meanwhile the sky was turning pink and orange.
All in all, like a dreamscape.
Sometimes, New Jersey can shock you with its sublime beauty.
