Then Again, Maybe the Sky is Falling...

...I just have to mention this.

This morning on my way into work, about six or seven miles from the office, I saw, what I think, was a comet in the sky.

At first I thought it was a plane leaving a white vapor trail behind it. Except that the tail seemed to be coming from a white oval (sort of) shaped body. The tail got longer and longer, and the object was moving in a straight line, kind of diagonally, (seemingly) headed to the ground until eventually the whole thing sort of just faded from view.

Having never seen a comet in the day time sky, I don't know what one looks like; I am just venturing a guess here.

If anyone cares, it was over Route 206 several miles from the intersection of the White Horse Pike.
