The First Obscure Lyric Contest.

Ok, kids; below are ten samples of lyrics from some very obscure songs. Your job is to name the song, and the singer (author) of each tune.

There is one fake amidst all of these lyrics; see if you can find it.

The winner (the first reader who gets all of the answers correct) gets a copy of a home-made cd with all of the songs listed here.

Have fun!

"Hide the human, and bring out the beast. Let all of the animal games begin..."

"Tell me, how long have you been combing your hair with a wrench..."

"Hey Hey, Padre, have you seen my son? He was wearing a long white dress and carrying a gun..."

"Jane came by with a lock of your hair..."

"Romeo Rodriquez squares his shoulders and curses Jesus..."

"And here I sit, hand on a telephone, hearing a voice Id known, light-years ago..."

"If Mary drops my baby girl tonight, I would name her Rock-N-Roll..."

"Talk to me, the Puerto Rican prostitutes ask for a date, and two kids are making fun of a bum who just fell flat on his face ..."

"Maybe I kissed you longer than I should have, but Im a sucker for your face..."

"She drove a Plymouth Satellite, faster than the speed of light..."
