Uncle Pax's Almanac: 02/04/10

Good Morning world, and greetings from Utopia, New Jersey as we hunker down for what might be another major snow storm in this neck of the woods...will it be bigger than the Decmeber blizzard, only time will tell.  It seems that Punxsutawney Phil was right when he called for six more weeks of winter.  As long as it's snow filled, you'll hear no complaints from this end.

It was on today's date that the Patricia Hearst drama began as the( then )19 year old college student was kidnapped from her apartment in Berkley California.

Get to the front of the bus if today is your birthday, becuase you share it with American Civil Rights icon, the late Ms. Rosa Parks!

Today's obscure term is, "Mitt me kid!" Any idea what that would mean if anyone said it to you?

And today's quote comes from Lily Tomlin who said, "Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

Hope you all have a great day, and find nothing to complain about!

Darling Auntie Pax if there was nothing to complain about life wouldn't be worth living.

Is that quote regarding baseball and giving someone the baseball mitt?
