It Took a Damn Levi's Ad to Acquaint Me With This Poem

  AMERICA - Walt Whitman
Centre of equal daughters, equal sons,
All, all alike endear'd, grown, ungrown, young or old,
Strong, ample, fair, enduring, capable, rich,
Perennial with the Earth, with Freedom, Law and Love,
A grand, sane, towering, seated Mother,
Chair'd in the adamant of Time.
+++
note that the voice you hear in the ad is alleged to be Whitman's from a wax phonograph cylinder.

Darling I didn't know that Levi Johnson was doing TV advertisments.
