True Blood's Jan Crouch Moment

If you've been watching HBO's southern-Gothic-vampire-soap opera, True Blood, you might have noticed that it takes particular delight in poking fun at religion and television preachers in general.

Imagine my sheer delight when in last week's episode, one of the characters flips on his TV and sees this familiar sight:
Well it looks to be Pax Romano's Ramblings faves: Jentzen Franklin, Benny Hinn and Jan Crouch!

Of course, it's just three actor's made up to look like the infamous money grubbers preachers. The premise was that the three of them were discussing the death of another preacher who was anti-vampire, and was recently killed.

If you have not, I'd highly recommend watching this series. It was created by Alan Ball (the mastermind behind, Six Feet Under), and it is a brilliant bit of satire poking fun at society and its many hangups, all the while dressed up like a scary vampire tale (oh and it's got lots of naked flesh, for those of you who like that kind of thing...).
