Temporary Bachleor

Sometimes I forget how nice it was to be a bachelor, to live life unfettered and with little in the way of responsibilities. To do things when and if I wanted to do them.

For the next few days, that is the life I am leading.

Whastshisname is away in Anaheim for another convention, and I am flying solo until next week.

Last night I did grocery shopping and filled a mere two bags with some frozen dinners, a couple of frozen pizzas, a half gallon of milk, some half and half and a bag of coffee. What else does one need in their kitchen?

I made dinner in my boxer shorts and ate in the living room while watching TV - man, it was liberating. After my meal I cracked open a bottle of wine and chilled out reading a novel while listening to some music.

This morning I got up at the crack of dawn, took a shower, made some breakfast and read the morning paper in bed while sipping a cup of coffee.

Give me a few days, and I'll be missing him. But for now, at least for today, I am loving life.

Have a great Saturday!
