Imagine a movie that pays homage to the great screwball comedies of the 1930's ; a breathless wacky roller coaster of a film thal'll leave you laughing until your stomach hurts...
...that movie would be 1972's, What's Up Doc?
Directed by Peter Bogdanovich, What's Up Doc? stars Ryan O'Neal and Barbra Streisand who pretty much become Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant in Bringing Up Baby.
Madcap adventures abound as suitcases, identities and hotel rooms are switched. Barbra wrecks havoc, O'Neal walks around in his boxer shorts, and the late, great Madeline Kahn steals the show as O'Neal's put-upon fiance, Eunice.
Fan's of Bewitched will notice Mabel Anderson (Darren's mother from the TV sit-com) as a hotel guest who gets to take a lot of pratfalls.
